|
According to the
tradition of our college the senior student of the college had

Student Council
Election |
|
As per the
direction of the Shivaji University Kolhapur the Students'
Council of the college was constituted and the members of the
students council elected shri. Imran Mujawar as the secretary
of Students" Council. The Students' Bar Association was also
constituted under the guidance of the principal and Mr.
Pradeep Sunke and Ms. Anita Patil were nominated as President
and secretary of the association respectively. |

Population day |
|
On the even of
population day Dr. R. K. Swami Principal, G. A. College of
Commerce delivered a lecture on the subject " Impact of
Population Growth On Economic Development of India" |

Parents meeting |
|
A meeting of the
parents of our students was called in the last week of July
2003 to have a discussion with them. Adv. Jayant Navale
Member, Governing Council Latthe Education Society Sangli,
inaugurated the said meeting. About 40 parents actively
participated in the said meeting and good suggestions were
also invited from them. In the meeting great appreciation was
made regarding the development of the college by the parents. |

Teachers Day |
|
Unveiling of the
wall paper "Vidhilikhit" was made by Hon'ble Mr. M. H. Shaikh,
Judge, Co-operative court, Sangli. The unique feature of this
college i.e. the celebration of Teachers Day' was conducted by
the students of this college. Through out the day lectures
were conducted by some of the students of our college. A
through provoking speech was delivered by Dr. M. H. Hirani,
H.O.D., Law Department Pune University. Many of our students
and teachers donated blood on this auspicious occasion. |

Visit to "Vrudha
Sevashram" and "Orphanage" |
|
As usual the
college has conducted social activities by giving visits to "Vrudha
Sevashram" and "Orphanage". The students had a good
dialogue with the inhabitants of the said places. The old aged
persons and the children were happy to have the talk with our
students and they made a request to arrange such visits at
least thrice in a year. |
